Nathan Fischer

Nathan Fischer

Critically acclaimed artist Nathan Fischer learned the foundry process apprenticing at The Monterey sculptural Center in Central California. Owned and operated by Nathan's father, Charles Larry Fischer, this foundry is world renowned for its innovative patina and precise lost-wax casting techniques. Working with highly skilled artists at a very young age fostered an awareness of art and a personal interest in design. It is from this background that his unique patina on bronze panel pieces
have emerged.

Fischer has been reviewed and praised in many publications. Los Angeles Times art critic, Bobbie Allen says, "(his) panel has a strong sense of mystery, a vision of haze over a calm ocean. The amazing thing about these landscapes is the strong representational accuracy. Fischer seems to have captured the basic essence of landscape in metal, something surprising and elemental."

In 2006 he was named one of the top seven artists by Orange Coast magazine and
in 2008 OC Look lauded him as defining "Orange County Style".
